A teenager was shot and a man was beaten late Tuesday at Diversey and Lawndale avenues in the Logan Square neighborhood.

Police are looking for suspects Wednesday morning, after one person was shot and another beaten on a Logan Square neighborhood streetcorner.
The violence happened just after 11 p.m. Tuesday at Lawndale and Diversey avenues.
Fire Media Affairs spokesman Quention Curtis said a 17-year-old boy was shot and a 27-year-old man was beaten, and both men were taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
A group of males was seen fleeing the scene, but a description of the attackers was not immediately available early Wednesday, police News Affairs Officer Ronald Gaines said.
Grand Central Area detectives are investigating, but nobody was in custody early Wednesday.
