Homes Evacuated Due To Gas Leak In Logan Square

CHICAGO (CBS) ― Fire crews have evacuated homes in the Logan Square neighborhood due to a gas leak.

The gas leak at a house at 3430 W. Shakespeare Ave. prompted a Level 2 Hazardous Materials response from the Fire Department.

The Fire Department told CBS 2 that firefighters were evacuating people from the homes on either side of the house with the leak.

Further information was not immediately available.
