LOMBARD, Ill. (CBS) ― Police are investigating a disturbing attack on a student at a suburban high school.

As CBS 2 West Suburban Bureau Chief Mike Puccinelli reports, at Glenbard East High School in Lombard the freshman baseball team is the talk of the school. And it's not because of their accomplishments on the field. It's because of their antics in the locker room, directed against a single teammate earlier this week.

"He got held down and supposedly his friends urinated all over him," said senior student Myles Frost. "I guess as a prank, a sick prank at that."

Lombard police were notified and are investigating the incident.

School officials would not confirm any details of the case, including if and where it happened, and how many children were involved.

"We always have to talk to the police and make sure if there's any kind of illegality or criminality involved that they make a determination about that," said Glenbard East Principal Robert McBride.

Police are looking into the incident, which involves a single victim and at least four students who took part in the incident. Three of the students are accused of holding down their teammate while sources say a fourth urinated on him.

McBride says potential punishment could range from expulsion to in school suspension.

"We support an environment at Glenbard East of non-harassment and also of high conduct for all of our students," McBride said.

McBride says they are still investigating the incident involving the baseball team. Police say charges are unlikely because the parties involved don't seem interested in pursuing them.
