Search For Lisa Stebic Moves To Michigan's U.P.
Craig Stebic Owned Cabin In Crystal Falls, Mich.
PLAINFIELD, Ill. (CBS) ―
The search for Lisa Stebic, the Plainfield mother who has now been missing for more than six months, will move to Michigan's Upper Peninsula on Wednesday.
Stebic's family plans to give hunters in the area special handwarmers. They have a picture of Stebic, as well as information about the tipline and the $72,000 reward.
The family of Lisa Stebic's estranged husband Craig has a cabin in Crystal Falls, in Iron County, Mich.
"Everything people tell you when you're looking for someone who is missing you look at the places they normally went, and this is some place that she frequently went," said Lisa Stebic's cousin, Melanie Greenberg.
Stebic's family also plans to put up three billboards in and around the city of Iron Mountain, in another attempt to get the attention of hunters.
Craig Stebic has been named a person of interest in his wife's disappearance, but no one has been charged with a crime in the case.
Anyone with information about Lisa Stebic is asked to call the tip line at (815) 267-7217, or go to
