CBS 2 asked viewers for their comments about Barack Obama choosing Joe Biden as a running mate...read their opinions. Yes, great choice to balance the ticket as a candidate of chance and experience in world affairs. --J. Berry
Absolutely! He is the perfect choice for Vice President.-- Pamela Chouinard
No. So much for "change." How long has Biden been in the Senate??? Vote for Hillary!!! -- Mark
Another goof-up by Democrats! I feel let down by revelation of another politician called Obama. I am a democrat and will be voting for McCain. Obama seems opportunistic just like no one can doubt that Biden is wanting to be VP of someone he doesn't believe is ready to take responsibilities of the President. Very sad! -- Sue
Frankly, the ticket should be reversed. Joe Biden has all the qualifications to run for president and Barack would learn a lot as his running mate. --Jpann Weaver
Barak provided the nails and Biden just provided the much needed hammer. -- Rob Pawelek
No, I think Obama should have picked Hilary Clinton because we REALLY NEED the 18 million women voters. It's too bad in 2008 here are STILL so many closet bigots. The race is going to be EXTREMELY CLOSE, but because of the bad economy, it should have been a landslide. -- Shanna
Definitely not. The wrong choice. He should have chosen Hillary Clinton, the top vote getter with many supporters. -- J. Heckman
My vote for a Democratic President hinged upon Obama selecting Clinton as a running mate and VP pick; Now that he has not done so, for the first time in my life, voting (55 years) as a Democrat, I am voting Republican. -- Gene Robinson
I commend future President Obama for his choice in running mate. Had he selected Hilary Clinton as a running mate I would have voted then for McCain. The Clinton's ran a very negative campaign, taking stabs at the Ogamas in ways that proved not just disrespectful but down right undignified and inhumane. In fact, the way the Clintons ran that campaign, I truly believe burned any bridges that could possibly ever get her elected as President to this great nation of ours. I was appalled that she even suggested being a VP after such a repugnant position about a young man that has all the potential to pull us out of the rut we are in, and make AMERICA #1 again! -- J.A. Resto
I think that the selection of Joe Biden was right on the money. The Obama-Biden ticket will win in November. Go Obama08!!! -- Aaron Scott
Big mistake...but it's his dream, not mine -- good luck Mr. Obama --Jacquez Pastor
Yes his best choice. -- Steve Lewis
I am not high on Joe Biden. Remember! He plagiarized JFK's famous "Ask Not..." speech. That makes me question his competency. -- Jon Evans
No, I do not. This is a very, very big mistake, he should have chosen a Woman V/P. (FYI I am a Black Male) -- Chas
Actually I think Sen. Biden is more qualified to be President than Obama. Barack should have waited four or eight years before he entered the Presidential race so people would get to know him and where he stands; right now we are still wondering what changes he is talking about. -- Roberta Walker
NO!! What are the Hillary supporters supposed to do now??? We have voted Democrat in our family a very long time--now we don't really care for the choices!! It should have been Hillary in either president or VP. Now what do we have? NO ONE. -- Cathy
