Additional Charges Filed In Infant Sexual Assault
YORKVILLE, Ill. (Aurora Beacon News) ―
The Kendall County State's Attorney's office has brought additional charges against a Yorkville man suspected of sexually assaulting an infant.
Kyle W. Zaricor, 23, of the 0-600 block of McHugh Road in Yorkville, was arrested in October after his infant stepchild was brought to an emergency room at Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora. Zaricor was initially charged with two counts of felony predatory criminal sexual assault.
After a Kendall County grand jury session on Nov. 20 resulted in three additional predatory criminal sexual assault charges against Zaricor, for a total of five. He has also been charged with one count of aggravated battery and one count of unlawful restraint.
The infant was brought to the emergency room just before midnight on Oct. 26, with injuries that allegedly occurred at the parents' residence the day before. DCFS took the child into protective custody pending a full investigation.
Zaricor remains in custody at the Kendall County jail pending his next court date.
