Mag Mile Hershey's Store Robbed

CHICAGO (CBS) ― The Hershey's Store on the Magnificent Mile was robbed late Thursday night.

The candy store and gift shop, at 822 N. Michigan Ave. in the Loyola University Lewis Towers building, was robbed just before midnight.

Two men, between 20 and 30 years old, robbed a store in the 800 block of North Michigan Avenue about 11:40 p.m., police News Affairs Officer John Henry said. The exact store was not immediately available.

The men entered the store while employees were present and escaped with an unknown amount in cash, Henry said.

Police said no one was hurt, but Belmont Area detectives said the robbers got away with a "substantial amount of money."
