Gary Plans Michael Jackson Memorial For July 10

As the family of Michael Jackson continues to make plans for a massive memorial service in Los Angeles, leaders in his hometown of Gary, Ind. are preparing for a tribute there next week.
While details are still being finalized, the memorial will take place on July 10 at the Gary Rail Cats baseball stadium
The service will be held at
U.S Steel Stadium, 1 Stadium Plaza, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Organizers are reaching out to entertainers. So far, they confirm that Gary native singer
Deniece Williams ("Let's Hear It For the Boy") will perform.
Gary officials describe it as "an evening of entertainment" with lots of Michael Jackson music and videos
