2-Year-Old Boy Hurt In Dolton Gunfight

Boy's Was Hit By Shots Fired By His Father

DOLTON, Ill. (CBS) ― A 2-year-old boy was wounded during a gun battle in south suburban Dolton overnight.

The gun battle broke out near a liquor store at 825 W. Sibley Blvd. in the south suburb, police said.

The Greenwood Liquors & Food store is located at the Sibley Boulevard address.

During the gun fight, a 2-year-old boy was wounded by gunshots fired by his father, Dolton police said.

The father was arrested and awaiting charges Friday, police said.
