Woman Dies While In Custody At Cook County Jail

Autopsy For Donna Taylor Set For Monday

CHICAGO (CBS) ― A 45-year-old woman has died while in custody at the Cook County Jail.

Donna Taylor, 45, of the 1500 block of North Clybourn Avenue, was in custody at the jail when she was pronounced dead at 8:42 a.m. at Saint Anthony Hospital, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.

Officials hope an autopsy Monday will shed light on Taylor's death.

There is no word about what charges Taylor was facing, but records show she was booked at the jail Thursday, and her bond was set at $15,000.

She was scheduled to appear in felony court on Dec. 8.
