Police Question Several In April Quintuple Murder

Victims All Found In House In Chatham Neighborhood April 22

CHICAGO (CBS) ― Chicago Police are interviewing several people of interest in the recent murders of five people at a home in the South Side's Chatham neighborhood.

Three men and two women, one a teenager and the other four in their 20s, were found slain at 7607 S. Rhodes Ave. on April 23.

Several valuables, including gold and diamond jewelry, were taken from the home. Detectives from the police prostitution, vice and narcotics were called in for the investigation.

Lakesha Doss, 17, Whitney Flowers, 22, Donovan Richardson, 24, Reginald Walker, 23, and Anthony Scales, 27, all suffered fatal gunshot wounds and the deaths were ruled homicides, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.

Police believe the murders were planned and carried out by at least two people.

A source said the home, which was being rented by Richardson, may have been used for prostitution. Richardson's brother Jason Alfred said he knew nothing about such allegations.

Richardson was dating Flowers and was cousins with Walker, whom he lived with in the home. Scales Jr. was a bank computer analyst. Flowers and Doss worked together at Arnie's Idle Hour Cocktail Lounge in Harvey, the Flowers family said.

One man who is being questioned was reportedly taken to an area hospital after he complained of stomach pains.
