CBS 2 Unveils New Lineup For Newscasts

It is with great pleasure that I share the following news, effective April 14:

CBS 2 Morning News from 5:00 AM 7:00 AM Jim Williams and
Kristyn Hartman will co-anchor the CBS 2 Morning News.
Kris Habermehl will continue to cover traffic and commuter issues.
Ed Curran and
Bill Zwecker will continue as morning meteorologist and entertainment reporter, respectively.
Susan Carlson will become a general assignment reporter, covering important stories and breaking news events for the station's 5:00 PM, 6:00 PM and 10:00 PM newscasts.

CBS 2 News at 11:00 AM Jim Williams and
Roseanne Tellez will co-anchor the station's 11:00 AM News, with
Ed Curran as meteorologist and
Bill Zwecker as entertainment reporter.

CBS 2 News at 5:00 PM Rob Johnson and
Roseanne Tellez will co-anchor the station's 5:00 PM News.
Don Schwenneker will join the 5:00 PM news team.
Ryan Baker, who will begin work at CBS 2 on April 14, will serve as lead sports anchor for the 5:00 PM, 6:00 PM and 10:00 PM News.

CBS 2 News at 6:00 PM and 10:00 PM Rob Johnson and
Anne State, who will join CBS 2 on April 14, will co-anchor the 6:00 PM and 10:00 PM News.
Steve Baskerville will continue to serve as lead meteorologist of the station's 6:00 PM and 10:00 PM News.

CBS 2 Weekend Morning News Suzanne Le Mignot and
Mike Puccinelli will co-anchor the station's weekend morning news.
Mary Kay Kleist will serve as weekend meteorologist for all weekend shows.

CBS 2 Weekend Evening News Derrick Blakley will join
Mai Martinez as co-anchor of the weekend evening newscasts.
Megan Mawicke will continue as weekend sports anchor.
It is always gratifying to be able to promote from within. Please give everyone your full support as they accept these important roles for the newscasts.
On a personal note, it is an understatement to say this has been a difficult week for everyone. I have been most impressed by the way you've handled developments with understanding, grace and compassion.
