A woman's body was found in the trunk of a car in the West Side's Hermosa neighborhood.

A 22-year-old woman who was found dead in the trunk of a car parked in an alley in the Northwest Side Hermosa neighborhood Monday night was shot multiple times, an autopsy has found.
At 10:50 p.m., the 22-year-old victim, identified as Kenyatae Collier, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office, was found in the trunk of a vehicle in an alley in the 2200 block of North Tripp Avenue, according to police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro.
A law enforcement source indicated the woman was shot in the head and found in her vehicle. Alfaro said she had trauma to her head.
Collier was pronounced dead on the scene at 2244 N. Tripp Ave. at 12:50 a.m. according to the medical examiner's office. An autopsy Tuesday found she suffered multiple gunshot wounds and her death was ruled a homicide.
Grand Central Area detectives were investigating.
