3 Injured In Richton Park Collision
RICHTON PARK, Ill. (Sun-Times Media Wire) ―
Three people were hospitalized following a two-vehicle crash Thursday afternoon in south suburban Richton Park.
Emergency crews responded to the crash at Cicero and Poplar avenues about 1 p.m., according to Richton Park Fire Dept. Capt. Jeff Cook, who said three ambulances were sent and three people were injured.
Two vehicles were involved and both suffered side impact damage although the circumstances regarding the crash were not immediately clear, Cook said.
All three people, who were adults, were taken to St. James Hospital and Health Centers in Olympia Fields in "stable" condition, Cook said.
Police remained at the scene as of 2 p.m. and were conducting a follow-up investigation, he said.
Richton Park police could not immediately be reached for comment.
