6 Hurt In South Side Crash

CHICAGO (STNG) ― A pin-in crash in the South Side's Englewood neighborhood injured six people Sunday morning.

About 8:10 a.m., a car heading west on 67th Street apparently collided with at least one other vehicle in the 6700 block of South Damen Avenue, police News Affairs Officer John Henry said.

An EMS Plan 1 response was called for the pin-in crash, and six people were taken to hospitals, Fire Media Affairs Chief Kevin MacGregor said.

Three people were taken to Stroger Hospital of Cook County in serious to critical condition, MacGregor said. Three more people were taken to Holy Cross Hospital in fair condition.

Charges and citations are pending, and police continue to investigate the crash Sunday morning, Henry said.
