Michigan Avenue Bank Robbed
CHICAGO (STNG) ―
A Bank of America branch on North Michigan Avenue was robbed Monday afternoon.
FBI agents are on the scene of a robbery at the Bank of America branch at 500 N. Michigan Ave., according to FBI Chicago office spokeswoman Cynthia Yates. The robbery happened about 2:30 p.m., Yates said.
The robber was wearing a long-sleeved white or yellowish shirt with a tie, according to unconfirmed reports. He also wore a beige baseball cap. He is described as possibly a black male between 5-foot-7 and 6 feet.
There was no weapon displayed or implied by the robber, according to an unconfirmed report.
