2 Men Found Shot Dead In Southeast Side Home

CHICAGO (STNG) ― Two men were found slain inside a home Sunday night on the Southeast Side.

Alex Chico, 22, and Mustafa Abdulrahim, 21, both of 10312 S. Avenue M, were found shot to death in their home and pronounced dead at 12:01 a.m. Monday, the Cook County Medical Examiner's office said.

The men were found shot multiple times in the home by a friend at about 10 p.m., according to police News Affairs.

Chico was found on the living room floor and Abdulrahim was found in a bathtub, which he apparently fell backwards into after he was shot, authorities said.

No one else was injured and no one was in custody early Monday, police said.

Calumet Area detectives are investigating.
