Man Found Dead In Old Town Adult Theater
Autopsy Inconclusive On Wednesday
CHICAGO (CBS) ―
The investigation continued Wednesday afternoon into the death of a man at an adult theater in the Old Town neighborhood after an autopsy was inconclusive.
The man, in his 40s, was found unresponsive at the Bijou Theater, 1349 N. Wells St., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office. Police responded at 2:11 p.m., according to police News Affairs Officer Michael Fitzpatrick.
An autopsy Wednesday was inconclusive, with results pending toxicological studies.
The Bijou Theater complex has been open for nearly 40 years, and includes a 24-hour cinema that shows gay male adult films on the first floor, and a sex club on the second. Bijou also has its own line of adult videos.
The man was pronounced dead at Northwestern Memorial Hospital at 2:49 p.m., the medical examiner's office said.
