Steve Dahl, Garry Meier Signing Off WCKG

CHICAGO (CBS) ― Chicago radio host Steve Dahl is moving from WCKG-FM 105.9 to CBS sister station WJMK-FM 104.3.

Dahl will leave his afternoon radio show behind for a morning show airing from 5:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Jack FM beginning Nov. 5.

And only about seven months after his return to radio, Garry Meier is off the air again at WCKG-FM. Station bosses pulled the plug on Meier's show amid talk of a format change at the FM talk station.

Also, today, the Chicago Bulls announced that their games would move from WCKG to WMVP-AM 100 this year. The Bulls games had been broadcast on WCKG for the past year.

Meier became a radio legend during his stint as Dahl's partner from the late 1970s though the early 1990s. Meier also had a successful run on WLS-AM with partner Roe Conn.
