Dart, Comcast Launch Show To Catch Fugitives
CHICAGO (STNG) ―
Cook County Sheriff Thomas Dart will host a public service initiative giving area residents the opportunity to help the sheriff's office locate fugitives, Dart and Comcast announced Thursday.
The Sheriff's Department and Comcast are launching "Police Blotter on Demand," hosted by Dart, according to a release.
The on-demand program, which will not cost the sheriff's office any money to produce, will be available to more than a million Comcast Digital Cable viewers. It will include information about six high-profile criminals wanted for various crimes, the release said.
In the first series of profiles, Dart describes crimes including sex offenses, attempted murder, armed robbery and animal cruelty, the release said. Each profile includes a mug shot and description of the suspect, which can be paused during the program.
The series features Amin Hassam Sayani, wanted for sexual assault to a child; Christopher DeBernardis, wanted for robbery and vehicular invasion; Cherilyn Isom, wanted for aggravated arson; Daniel Artiles, who violated probation; Martell Brownlee, wanted for aggravated vehicular hijacking; and Stephen Henry wanted for attempted murder.
