Station officials say former Gov. Rod Blagojevich will serve as host of a two-hour talk show on WLS-AM (890 AM) for two consecutive Sundays.
WLS program director Bob Shomper announced Thursday that Blagojevich would host the noon-to-2 p.m. show this Sunday, and again on July 26.
Calling it "must-listen radio," Shomper said the personalities on his station are "compelling, knowledgeable, opinionated, and often times controversial." He said the ousted governor has all those traits.
Since legislators removed him from office in January after his arrest on corruption charges, Blagojevich has been a frequent guest on radio and television shows.
It will be a return engagement on WLS for Blagojevich, who served as guest host of the "Don Wade and Roma Morning Show" in March.
