Two men were critically wounded Wednesday evening in a shooting at a gas station near a South Side high school.
About 6:45 p.m., ambulances responded to reports of two people shot in a gas station at 103rd Street and Corliss Avenue, Fire Media Affairs spokesman Joe Roccasalva said.
One man was shot in his abdomen and another in his side, Roccasalva said. Both men were taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in serious-to-critical condition.
The gas station is less than one block from Corliss High School, located at 821 E. 103rd St., according to a Web listing.
Calumet Area detectives are investigating.
