You Review: F.A.Q.
Have you ever read a movie review for a film you hated, but the critic loved it? It makes you wonder who that movie critic was, or what movie they were really watching! Well, You Review is our attempt to give you a chance to review movies yourself!
cbs2chicago.com invites our users to share their thoughts of movies with others. Some users will even be selected to attend a screening for a movie before it even opens, write a review for the website and do an interview with CBS 2's Bill Zwecker!
If you want to be involved with You Review, read the information below and get your fingers typing!
What is You Review? You Review is an interactive element of
cbs2chicago.com that invites our viewers and website users to write their own movie reviews for our website.
How Can I Respond To A Movie In You Review? We welcome movie-goers to send us their thoughts about movies we review! We will add them to the You Review page for the movie. We ask you to limit your mini-review to two sentences, and include your name and hometown. Find the link to post your review at the bottom of every You Review story.
How Can I Apply To Be A You Review Critic?cbs2chicago.com wants you to be our next You Review critic! The application is easy. Send us an e-mail with your name, age, hometown and at least three writing samples (or just one sample if it is a movie review). You can send your e-mail to
your2cents@cbs2chicago.com. Please be aware that we expect to receive many applications. Not every applicant will be selected. Applications will not be accepted through U.S. mail. Writing samples sent to CBS will not be returned.
Please note that You Review critics will attend movie screenings in dowtown Chicago, but the schedule of these screenings is not set by
cbs2chicago.com. It is the responsibility of the critic to be available for that screening, otherwise another applicant will need to be selected.
