Two new cases of the H1N1 flu have hit a parochial school in Schaumburg.
The patients are students at St. Peter Lutheran Middle School, at 208 E. Schaumburg Rd. The principal of the school confirmed the cases, and says surfaces throughout the building have been disinfected.
Classes are resuming at the school Tuesday morning.
Students are also back in class atÂ
Naperville North High School, after a student there died of the H1N1 flu.
Freshman Michelle Fahle died last week. She was later confirmed to have contracted H1N1.
Grief counselors are available at the school for both students and staff.
Doctors say a progressive heart defect made Michelle more vulnerable.
Michelle's visitation is scheduled for later Tuesday, and her funeral is set for Wednesday.
Meanwhile in the city of Chicago, the City Council is meeting to discuss a resolution calling for a city strategy on H1N1 vaccinations.
