It's called water-jet assisted liposuction, and according to the company that created it, it's "a new procedure that is changing the face of liposuction."
Doctors who perform the procedure say it loosens the fat in a gentle way with minimal discomfort and risk, and offers them the opportunity to contour the body very accurately with a quick recovery for the patient.

The company that created it says it uses less fluid than traditional liposuction procedures, and patients get outstanding results.
They say there is less swelling and less postoperative pain and bruising than in traditional liposuction. It can even be performed under local anesthesia.
"Water-jet assisted liposuction also provides the ability to harvest fat for immediate transfer without the lengthy processing usually required," according to a company spokesman.
Fewer than than 50 doctors in the U.S. are performing this procedure, reports CBS station KCBS-TV.
