20 Illinois Hospitals Earn High Marks In Survey

CHICAGO (CBS) ― Patients treated at top-rated hospitals are nearly one-third less likely to die than people admitted to other hospitals, according to the Healthgrades hospital quality and clinical excellence study.

20 hospitals in the Chicago area were among the highest scoring on the annual survey - including Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village, Elmhurst Memorial Hospital, Ingalls Memorial Hospital in Harvey, Our Lady of the Resurrection Medical Center on the Northwest Side and Swedish Covenant Hospital.
