The Catholic Archdiocese of Chicago announced a $12.7 million settlement Tuesday with victims of sex abuse by the clergy. Francis Cardinal George has apologized for the scandal and hopes the settlement will bring some healing. The church must also provide the survivors with spiritual counseling and long-term therapy.
