A 21-year-old north suburban man was in jail Friday morning after police discovered a marijuana-growing operation in his home.
At about 3:45 p.m. Thursday, Wilmette police executed a search warrant at a home at 384 Hawthorn Ln. in Winnetka. Inside, officers found marijuana growing stations, including tents equipped with lighting, irrigation and ventilation systems, according to a release from police.
Police recovered 75 cannabis plants and further evidence of the production, use and distribution of the drug, the release said.
