Delta Beefs Up Connections, Making Local Stops
CHICAGO (AP) ―
Delta Air Lines will launch a nonstop daily flight from Salt Lake City to Chicago's Midway Airport to compete with low-cost carrier Southwest Airlines.
Also in June, Delta will fly once daily to Lincoln, Neb. Additional flights to Dallas-Fort Worth and Chicago's O'Hare International Airport will step up Delta's competition with rivals American Airlines and United Airlines, which operate hubs at those airports.
Delta also will launch a Saturday flight starting June 20th between Salt Lake and Cranbrook, British Columbia in Canada.
