The jury in the fraud and racketeering trial of former media mogul Conrad Black on Thursday was in its first full day of deliberations today after a 14-week trial.
The jury sent a note to U.S. District Judge Amy St. Eve Thursday morning saying it planned to deliberate until 4:45 p.m. Thursday and from 9 to 1 p.m. Friday before breaking for the weekend.
Black and three other former Hollinger International executives are accused of stealing millions of dollars from the company that should have gone to shareholders.
All four have pleaded not guilty.
