Howard Sudberry serves as sports reporter for CBS 2 Chicago.
He joined the station in February 1984, as a weekend sports anchor. Sudberry served as co-host of the Emmy award-winning series, "The Mike Ditka Show." He has won three local Emmy Awards, a Peter Lisagor Award and an Eclipse Award, which is the highest honor in the thorobred horse racing industry.
Prior to joining CBS 2, Sudberry worked as a sports anchor/reporter at WEWS-TV in Cleveland, Ohio (1980-84), and at WLKY-TV in Louisville, Ky. (1979-80). Previously, he was the sports director at KCRG-TV in Cedar Rapids, Iowa (1976-79). Sudberry began his broadcasting career at WMBD-TV in Peoria, Ill. as a weather anchor and then as the sports reporter (1974-76).
He was born and raised in Pekin, Ill. Sudberry is married and has two children.
